My name is Eric Byrd. My passion for the stone business all began at an early age. From the time I was old enough to walk I would go to work with my Dad at his rock quarry. I would ride in the tool box on the floor of his D8 Dozer and loved it. I would sit in the dirt playing with my Tonka toys pretending to operate the equipment just as I had seen my Dad do. Before I was old enough to drive a truck my Dad had me operating equipment and learning the quarry operations. At the age of 18 I bought my own equipment and started my own business. I am now 36 and the owner of Byrd's Heritage Stone.
